So yesterday was Independence Day. But instead of celebrating by watching fireworks or having a BBQ, I went to the ER with a shooting pain in my right pelvic area. Thinking I was suffering from kidney stones, I cried and whined like a brat, only to find out it was MUCH worse. Appendicitis is an infection of the appendix, that useless part of our digestive tract (see above picture). And apparently it’s very common.
So, buy 6pm the same evening I was knocked out and in for surgery. And here I am today, appendix-less.
And wisdom toothless…
Tonsils next? Goodness gracious this has been a horrendous past couple of weeks.
